What Is B.E.T.A.?

Multi-week program
3 full days per week
A chance to learn some new skills
Meet peers from other schools
Learn anger management skills
Learn to solve conflicts in a non-violent way

Who Is This Program For?

The B.E.T.A. Program is a teaching program to support high school students from Bankstown district schools. The program targets students who may be at risk of, or have had, suspensions and be at risk of further difficulties managing their behaviour in the school environment. The Program focuses on developing students' literacy, numeracy and social skills. Students have access to technology, cooking and sporting facilities.

The BETA Program is staffed by a Special Education Teacher and a Teacher's Aide.

How Can You Be Part Of It?

Speak to your School Counsellor or Year Adviser. They will give you all the information needed to apply for the B.E.T.A. Program. For further information, teachers, parents or other community workers can contact District Office by phone or through our email link below.
