Learning Difficulties Co-ordinator for Bankstown District Office is
Victoria Webb . Victoria is primarily
responsible for: |
|
- Providing professional support to District Support Teachers
(LD) and support class teachers (reading)
- Promoting the development of learning support teams within
schools.
- Establishing and maintaining a network of district learning
difficulties personnel.
- Supporting schools in the development and implementation
of educational programs for students with learning difficulties.
- Advising on the monitoring and allocation of learning difficulties
services.
- Liaising with other specialist personnel in the delivery
of services to students with significant learning difficulties.
- Liaising with other district learning difficulties coordinators
in the delivery of across-district support.
- Liaising with parents or carers and other agencies regarding
learning difficulties programs and issues.
- Coordinating within the district the implementation of state
initiatives for students with learning difficulties.
