Student Services - Learning Difficulties
The Learning Difficulties Co-ordinator for Bankstown District Office is Victoria Webb . Victoria is primarily responsible for:
  • Providing professional support to District Support Teachers (LD) and support class teachers (reading)
  • Promoting the development of learning support teams within schools.
  • Establishing and maintaining a network of district learning difficulties personnel.
  • Supporting schools in the development and implementation of educational programs for students with learning difficulties.
  • Advising on the monitoring and allocation of learning difficulties services.
  • Liaising with other specialist personnel in the delivery of services to students with significant learning difficulties.
  • Liaising with other district learning difficulties coordinators in the delivery of across-district support.
  • Liaising with parents or carers and other agencies regarding learning difficulties programs and issues.
  • Coordinating within the district the implementation of state initiatives for students with learning difficulties.
