The Aboriginal Community Liaison Officer for Bankstown
District Office is Elwyn Brown. Elwyn
is responsibilities involve: |

- Developing consultative mechanisms to promote understanding
between Aboriginal communities and the Department.
- Providing support for Aboriginal Education Consultative Group
activities.
- Advising senior officers in district and State Office on
Aboriginal community involvement in curriculum implementation
and other educational initiatives.
- Promoting Departmental policies and programs in Aboriginal
communities.
- Promoting Aboriginal community use of Departmental resources,
facilities and personnel.
- Assisting to develop the awareness and skills of Departmental
officers and Aboriginal community members in Aboriginal education
curriculum development.
